Welcome to the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals
Our organization was originally founded 106 years ago and over time, we have seen a number of changes to better meet the evolving needs of our members and the foodservice and hospitality industry. We started in Canada as the Canadian Food Service Association, became the Canadian Food Service Executives Association (CFSEA) and today, the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP).
In 2003, we re-branded the association to reflect what was important to professionals of the foodservice and hospitality industry at all levels. The diversity of our membership includes industry executives, food service suppliers, operators, manufacturers, sales professionals, educators, government employees, members of the military, and students.
The focus of the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals is ongoing professional development of individuals in the industry. CAFP offers excellent educational programs at our branch meetings and our annual national conference to help foodservice professionals become familiar with current standards and trends. CAFP also provides all industry professionals opportunities to attain professional credentialing with the Credentialed Foodservice Executive (CFE) Program.
The Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals is a fun and dynamic association that provides opportunities for foodservice professionals to meet and mingle, educate and share, mentor and grow.
I invite you to contact us at national@cafp.com or one of our 10 branches across Canada and join us as we create new and exciting programs that will enhance your personal and professional growth and development.
Peter Lam, RD, CFE
