The Manitoba Branch of CAFP is a small branch of committed members who enjoy meeting new people, networking with colleagues and who are committed to the food service industry and personal development within that industry.

Our members meet on the THIRD Wednesday of the month and enjoy the hospitality of various venues throughout Winnipeg. See calendar attached for our tentative meeting schedule.

Meetings focus on opportunities to network and broaden our knowledge of current trends and products through interaction with our diverse and dynamic membership.

Our members are foodservice professionals from all aspects of the industry, including food service operators, sales, distribution, healthcare, contract caterers, consulting, and education.

Three of our members have received the CAFP‘s most prestigious award, the National Food Executive of the Year which is presented annually in recognition of outstanding ability and contribution to the food service and hospitality industry as well as service within CAFP and community involvement.

In addition to fellowship, education, and networking, CAFP includes a credentialing program with emphasis on personal professional development. The Credentialed Food Executive Program is recognized by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC) as a credentialing approach for food service management professionals. It is recorded under their listing of industry credentialing programs and is the only nationally recognized program of its kind
