Welcome to the Vancouver Branch!
The Vancouver Branch has been active since 1959 growing from a small group of committed foodservice professionals to become one of the larger branches in the country with members from the Vancouver area and various parts of B.C. Membership is diverse, coming from all sectors of the hospitality industry including food operations, consulting, education, sales, distribution, food manufacturing, healthcare, and contract catering.

Monthly meetings are usually held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and provide members an opportunity to socialize and learn while enjoying the hospitality at a wide range of venues throughout the lower mainland. Meetings usually include a guest speaker or facility tour as well as conducting the branch business. The meetings are an ideal place to make new contacts and to network with colleagues.

The Vancouver Branch supports Student Branches at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver Community College, City Center by sponsoring bursaries and mentoring students to help them prepare for the foodservice and hospitality industry.

CAFP Vancouver participates in foodservice trade shows to promote the association; coordinates industry related seminars, workshops and tours; contributes time and financial assistance to local charities; and sponsors entertaining social functions. In addition to fellowship and networking, membership benefits include a credentialling (CFE – Credentialed Food Executive) program with emphasis on lifelong personal and professional development.
