2008 Conference

CAFP 34th Annual Conference

The CAFP conference’08 planning committee seeks to provide an agenda consisting of motivational, educational sessions and fun-filled entertainment in a maritime atmosphere that will inspire and rejuvenate all delegates. It is our mission to put “Wind in Your Sails”.

As we journey through our food service and food- related careers, we are in a sea of change. How can we deal with these changes? What are some external forces facing our workplace and business? How can change be beneficial? What happens if we go off-course? How can we stay afloat and succeed?

The crew manning the ship is fundamental for a successful journey. People are our greatest resource! How do we select the best crew? How do we keep and motivate them? Are we masters of our own destination? How can we build and maintain momentum?

These are questions our speakers will seek to address. They will motivate you and provide you with food for thought.

Please keep checking this site for conference up-dates and look-out for the Ship’s Log conference newsletter. The first publication will be mid -January. Learn how the crew is preparing for this conference voyage and the course that is being mapped.

We are hoping that a westerly breeze in June will take CAFP members east to Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Climb aboard and anchors aweigh!
